Butter muffins with evlogia Plum spread with Hazelnut aroma jam

Servings: 12 muffins
Preparation time 30 minutes – 1 hour

2 cups flour
3 Tbsps. baking powder
1/2 Tbsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 cup (850 mL) sugar
1 cup milk
75 g (2.65 oz) melted butter and 15 g (0.53 oz) extra for spreading
1/2 cup (300 mL) Evlogia Plum spread with Hazelnut aroma jam and some extra to spread them.


Put the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix to combine.
In a separate bowl put the egg, sugar, milk and 75 g (2.65 oz) melted butter and mix.
Combine the mixture of the two bowls and mix it up a little bit. Leave it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven at a moderate temperature (180° C, 160° C fan-assisted, 350° F, Gas Mark 4).
Add the jam to the mixture and distribute equal portions in each cup.
Bake for 18 minutes.
Take them out of the oven and while they are hot, spread the remaining melted butter and some jam on top of them.
